These galleries represent a lifetime in photography, although I am not primarily a photographer in the conventional sense. I am untrained in classroom photographic technology or craft and learned the mechanics by lots of trial and even more error. But having been around Imogene Cunningham, Dorothea Lange, Ansel Adams, and many other photographers more or less from the cradle, some of the vision of good graphic works seeped in by osmosis. I had the chance to look at a lot of photography starting at an early age and to listen to accomplished photographers talk about the creative process. Then, more or less by accident, I found myself in strange places with a camera in my hand.
